Basant Kumar Birla (1921–2019) & Sarala Birla (1923–2015), successors of G.D. Birla , our Founders and Patrons, established Birla Academy of Art & Culture in Calcutta in 1964 to promote arts, culture, literature, and education. The academy has been instrumental in the establishment of Birla Global University.
